A vintage find 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante Coupe shone at the Bonhams Retromobile auction held last February 7 in Paris. The vintage wonder was discovered inside a British garage and was sold to the highest bidder for approximately $4.4 million.

While Bonhams failed to give information on the Bugatti’s new owner, Bonhams stated that the selling price of the 1937 Bugatti is 3,417,500 Euros. There are only 17 copies of the Type 57S Atalante Coupe at present. The one sold at the Paris auction was initially owned by the President of the British Racing Drivers Club, Earl Howe. I was looking for other special Veyrons when I stumbled upon this Bugatti Veyron Pegaso Edition at Style Blog We Are Style. It’s a pretty amazing looking thing, and the million-dollar-license plate from the United Arab Emirates (number 1 baby! — worth more than the car itself!) gives the car the status it deserves in the money-drenched city of Dubai…
I absolutely love the colors, the interior — and the Veyron.
